Join us for an introduction to Cosmic Frog’s Intelligent Greenfield (Triad) and Cost to Serve Analysis tools. We’ll cover how to set up and run Intelligent Greenfield models, as well as advanced features such as facility and transportation cost tradeoffs, service levels requirements, existing facilities, facility capacities, modeling suppliers, and more. We’ll also dive into how landing cost is being calculated, how to leverage cost to serve results to identify areas in the network with highest to least profit.
As supply chains continue to increase in complexity, more sophisticated modeling techniques are required to meet business goals. Simulation allows for the exploration of interrelated, dynamic, and random events by showing the behavior of a supply chain over time, under various conditions and stressors. This session will cover the basics of simulation, including what simulation is, how it works, and the unique value of simulation compared to network optimization. We'll get the creative juices flowing by talking through various use cases for simulation, and provide tips and steps for how to get started.
When we think about the complex decisions that policymakers must make in low-middle income countries public health sector, we may wonder, what if there was a way to provide these folks with tools and guidance that would fit their current needs, accelerate their decision processes, and provide the big positive impact that is desired? What if there was a mechanism to understand current supply chain decision making maturity and based on it provide tools that facilitate this process for policymakers? What if policymakers had the opportunity to compare their country’s performance with others in the world? Join us in reimagining global impact and explore how we have addressed these questions and make these scenarios move from hypothesis to reality.
Cosmic Frog is the first design platform to provide a proactive view of risk, and the opportunity to make smarter strategic decisions--making you a professional risk-taker. Join Optilogic and special guest Greg Schlegel of the Supply Chain Risk Mgmt Consortium for a practical discussion on how to begin designing resilient supply chains by considering risk. You’ll learn where global companies are performing well in risk and where they’re falling short, risk mitigation secrets of top performing companies, steps to quantifying risk in potential supply chain changes using Cosmic Frog, and how to utilize your Opti-Risk score to design a more resilient supply chain.
Having access to great supply chain design technology is a great start, but don't forget about the importance of building your design team. In this session we'll share expert guidance on building a supply chain design center of excellence (COE), what it means to an organization, what skill sets are required, and how to drive sustainable value with this type of organization. We’ll also discuss how best to build an ecosystem of experts within and across the organization, and the types of decisions a COE can support.
We will explore how to leverage the power of the Optilogic platform and put the power of optimization, simulation, risk and hyperscaling in the hands of the many. Learn how to extend the platform and hyperscale directly from something as simple as Excel or a tailored React Web App. We'll also talk about how you can direct connect to Cosmic Frog models and connect your desktop experience to the cloud via working with external tools like Alteryx, PowerBI, and Tableau.
Tackling post-COVID volatility requires planning techniques that consider all the variability that exists in demand, sourcing, transportation, and more when making inventory decisions. This session will get attendees thinking in a new way about inventory strategy--are you ready? You'll learn why optimization-only solutions are preventing companies from making smart inventory decisions, how a combined optimization and simulation approach captures real-world variability affecting inventory, and practical use cases for how you can use Cosmic Frog simulation for healthier inventory and better service.
